Check-in & Check-out 

  • What time can I check in?

    Rooms are available from 3 pm. You can check in at the reception desk from this time onwards.

  • By what time must I check out?

    We kindly request you to vacate your room and check out by 11 am.

  • Where is the reception desk located?

    The reception desk is located on the left-hand side immediately upon entering the building.

  • I don’t have a credit card. How can I pay?

    We accept debit cards, credit cards, Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg gift cards or cash (with the exception of 200 and 500 Euro notes).

  • Is there always someone on duty at the reception desk?

    Yes. The reception desk is open 24 hours a day.

  • Can I book an early check-in or late check-out?

    We’re delighted that you wish to extend your stay; however, early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and comes with an additional cost of 10 Euros per hour. Please call our reception desk to arrange this one day prior to arrival.

  • What time is breakfast served?

    From Monday to Friday between 7 am and 10 am, and on Saturdays and Sundays between 8 am and 11 am.


    During the holiday from 23th of december to the 7th of january, we will serve breakfast from 08:00 - 11:00 AM.

  • Can I use the Spa & Wellness?

    All hotel guests can make use of the Spa & Wellness facilities during opening hours, including on the day of arrival and departure.

  • Are pets allowed?

    No. Pets are not permitted in the South-Kennemerland National Park and Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg applies the same policy.

  • Are the buildings wheelchair accessible?

    Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg is wheelchair-friendly. All floors are accessible by lift.

  • Do you have bicycle storage facilities?

    We have a non-lockable bike shed where you can store your bicycle throughout your stay.

  • What are the restaurant opening hours?

    The restaurant is open daily. If you wish to have lunch or dinner in our restaurant, we recommend making an advance reservation. Current opening hours can be found here: Fine dining.

  • Do you have triple rooms?

    We can install an additional bed in your hotel room for a supplement of 50 Euros per bed per night excluding breakfast.

  • Do you have single rooms?

    All rooms are suitable for single occupancy.

  • Do you have family rooms?

    We have various family rooms with inter-connecting doors. These are located in the adjoining wing.

  • Can I rent a cot?

    We can install a cot in your hotel room for a supplement of 25 Euros.

  • What’s the difference between a Country House room and a Patio room?

    Our Country House rooms are located in the Manor House and boast a classical ambience. The patio rooms are located in the adjoining wing and have a more contemporary look and feel. Both room types are extremely comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a thoroughly relaxing stay.

    Not if you book directly via our website.

  • What’s your cancellation policy?

    If you’ve booked a hotel room (including or excluding breakfast), you can cancel or rebook it up until 3 pm, one day prior to arrival. You can cancel or rebook package deals up until 3 pm, two days prior to arrival.

    You cannot cancel or rebook non-refundable reservations free of charge.


  • What does 'non-refundable' mean?

    'Non-refundable' means that once your reservation has been finalised, you cannot cancel the room without losing all or a portion of the amount.'

  • I have a food allergy. Can you accommodate this?

    Yes, of course. Please notify us of this when making your reservation.

    Yes, we have several charging stations for cars and bicycles. Planning to take advantage of these? Then please consider our other guests and avoid leaving your vehicle plugged in unnecessarily at the charging station.

  • Is there a bar on the premises?

    Yes. Our stylish bar is located in the basement. It’s open from 5 pm to 12 pm from Sunday to Thursday and until 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

  • Do you recommend making a reservation for the restaurant?

    Yes. This is definitely recommended. You can book a table quickly and easily via our reservation page: Fine dining

  • What time is breakfast served?

    Our extensive breakfast buffet is served between 7 am and 10 am from Monday to Friday and from 8 am to 11 am on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • I lost something at the hotel; has it been found?

  • Is the Spa & Wellness accessible to non-residents?

    Yes. You can visit our Spa & Wellness during normal opening hours. 3 hours of access, including a treatment of your choice, bathrobe and slippers, costs 15 Euros.


    Prefer to use the Spa & Wellness without taking advantage of a treatment? You can do so from Monday to Thursday.

  • How many hotel rooms do you have?

    Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg has 75 hotel rooms. 31 of these are located in the Manor House and 44 in the adjoining wing.

  • Can I arrange a photo shoot on the premises?

    Only those holding a wedding ceremony at Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg are authorised to take wedding photos. This is not permitted for other bridal couples or any other purposes.

  • Do you have a children's menu?

    Yes, we have a children’s menu that’s been specially designed with our younger guests in mind.

  • Can I arrive by public transport?

    Our premises are located a 1 km-walk away from Santpoort-Noord railway station. There’s a direct train connection to and from Haarlem/Amsterdam every half hour.

  • Can I make a restaurant reservation?

    The best way to do this is via our booking system on the Fine dining page.

  • Can I hold a bereavement service at Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg?

    Yes. You can view the various options here.
